ReceiveWhen GearClean receives your items, we will inspect them, record an inventory, and provide you with a receipt. Your items are placed into a number-coded bag and are ready for loading into the machine.
Your items are loaded into a mesh garment bag, which has individual pockets to secure each item or piece of gear. The GearClean process will not damage your equipment or items as the patented technology holds items secure while hydraulically forcing the cleaning chemicals through thick padding, foams, leathers, and other items that may be difficult to clean. Items that might require more agitation during the wash process, such as athletic jerseys, are placed into special plastic inserts that create more of a tumbling action during the machine cycles.
Step one is a detergent that breaks down stains and helps eliminate odors. Step two is a more penetrating detergent that suspends stains and brightens fabrics. Step three is a force additive that neutralizes the pH of the first two steps, making your items safe for skin contact, and kills all bacteria, viruses, mold, and spores. The final stage is the implant of our signature fragrance to your equipment. Variables such as water temperature and drum speed are controlled and monitored to protect your items.
You’re items are more than 90% dry when they come out of the machine. Retaining a little moisture and hanging items on our finishing rack to manually finish drying prevents overheating plastics and helps keep leathers soft and pliable.
